Have Faith

Bismillah Rahmanir Raheem (In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful)
Assalamualaikum wr wb our dear brothers and sisters,

We hope that you’re in the best state of health and iman insyaAllah!

Let us start off with a story, which we hope could benefit you in one way or the other.

"

A little boy was telling his Grandma how “everything” is going wrong.

School, family problems, health problems, problems with friends, etc.

Meanwhile, Grandma is baking a cake.

She asked her grandson if he would like a snack, which, of course, he does.

“Here, have some cooking oil.”

"Yuck.” said the boy.

”How about a couple raw eggs?” Asked Grandma

“Gross, Grandma!” Replied the boy.

"Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?”

“Grandma,  all of them are yucky!”

To which Grandma replies:
“Yes, all those things seem bad all by themselves. But when they are put together in the right way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake!

"

From the story, we learnt that the littlest things can benefit us positively. In the Islamic context, Allah works the same way. In our life, we can’t run away from obstacles and struggles that will affect us. Sometimes, we wonder why Allah gave us those bad and hard challenges when you have enough on hand. Those were the times which we felt as though oue world had turned into a complete darkness.

“Sometimes darkness is there to remind how beautiful light can be”.
A quote we should really reflect on.

Allah indeed knows why He places all those moments in our life. When He put those challenges, they always work out for good. We would benefit from them as we will become someone stronger and wiser. We just have to trust Him and eventually, they will all make something wonderful.Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knower, All-Wise. And follow that which is revealed to you from your Lord. Verily, Allah is Well-Acquainted with what you do. And put your trust in Allah, and Sufficient is Allah as a Wakil (Trustee, or Disposer of affairs).  [Surah Al-Ahzab: 2-3]

In time of struggles, pray to Allah to grant you strength and to ease your affairs. Let us reminder one another and continue to establish our faith in Allah s.w.t when given the many trials and challenges, for it is all made and designed for our very own good. Allah indeed knows best what is best for us, and all praises to Him for He is indeed the All-Knower (Al-Alim) and the All-Wise (Al-Hakim).

Be thankful for all the blessings that you have!
Wasalam,

NPMSS
